Handling License Status 7315 or Status 7334

Problem Description

​Trying to apply/authorize a product license returns status 7315  "Product key is already activated on this machine. "  Trying to delete/deauthorize a license returns Error 7334  "Unexpected authorization error.  Please contact Support."

​To get around the Status 7315 or 7334 issue the clear command from the command line License Administrator:

 clilcadm -c <licensestring>

w64clilcadm -c <licensestring>

Users sometimes confuse the clear command -c  for the deauthorize (delete) command  -d.   The -c and -d commands are not the same.  As mentioned previously, the clear command should only be used to resolve status 7315 and status 7334 situations.
