About the Btrieve API

The Btrieve API for Pervasive PSQL SDK consists of interfaces for supported programming languages (header files), samples, and documentation that enable you to develop transactional applications for the Pervasive PSQL database engine.

System Requirements

Existing install of Pervasive PSQL v11 SP1 database engine if you want to use features in the release.

Getting Started

The runtime files for the Btrieve API access method are installed with the Pervasive PSQL engine by default.

The header files and samples files are available via Web download at http://www.pervasivedb.com.
