Product Details
Pervasive PSQL Insurance Is: a 7-day temporary license for Pervasive PSQL Servers on Linux or Windows. The count begins when the database is authorized. Pervasive PSQL Insurance licenses are specific to OS - for example, PSQL Insurance for Windows 32-bit will not work on Linux or Windows 64-bit.
Use PSQL Insurance When: You are a) unable to deauthorize a key and b) unable to contact Pervasive Support.
PSQL Insurance Can Be Used: Up to 3 times - either 3 times in a row on the same machine, on 3 different machines at the same time, or some combination of 1 and 2 machines.
When the PSQL Insurance License Expires: You can re-apply the license to the same machine by first deauthorizing and then reauthorizing the key in the License Administrator. If you want to apply the license to another machine, there is no need to deauthorize first.
Pervasive PSQL Insurance User Count Increases Expire: 7 days after they are authorized.
Pervasive PSQL Insurance Licenses That Haven't Been Used: Do not expire. As long as the PSQL Insurance License hasn’t been used three times, it is still valid. Unlike typical insurance, there’s no need to renew (unless you’ve used PSQL Insurance 3 times.)
Pervasive PSQL Insurance Deauthorized Before the 7-Day Term Expires: Cannot be reapplied for the remainder of the 7-day period. Each time a Pervasive PSQL Insurance license is deauthorized, one of 3 possible 7-day licenses is used.
Note: Pervasive PSQL Insurance does not support telephone authorization or offline authorization.
